Description
Saxophonist/composer/educator Don Braden, Music Director since 1998, has worked with many jazz greats, including Betty Carter and Wynton Marsalis. He composes for Bill Cosby projects, has received a Doris Duke Foundation award, and teaches for NJPAC and Prince Clause Conservatory. At Litchfield Jazz Camp, he and a staff of major musicians teach jazz to students ages 13 and up. Camp curriculum includes classes in performance, music theory and composition. All students are invited to perform at the Litchfield Jazz Festival. 2009 sessions run from July 5 – 31.
